Recapturing Your Voice: Overcoming Challenges and Embracing Change
Robert Kennedy III, also known as RK3, is a communication coach and the owner of “Amplify Your Voice.” He asks the community a question every Tuesday. This week, the question gave me pause.
“What do you need to recapture?
Over the past decade, I have transformed my life in various ways.
My family went from four to just two. My oldest now attends a residential school. Over the years, I joined many school programs. I supported parents at departmental meetings. I also led several parent training sessions. I helped families with self-care and support services. In 2021, I released my first published book and held my first self-care conference.
Then I vanished. Shut down! By March 2022, I stopped all support groups. By that summer, I had nearly disappeared from everyone’s stage on Clubhouse.
Initially, I attributed it to my deeper spiritual and biblical training. Nevertheless, my nine-week course ended the first week of February 2022. Then, like Paul and the other Apostles, I said I needed to be under training for three years. Even the disciples continued to work in their purpose. They moved among the people. All this happened while they trained with YahShua [the man called Jesus]. Then there was the family drama, but that existed tenfold in 2021. Yet I published and produced that year.
Note that I didn’t stop teaching, supporting, or strategizing over the last three to four years. However, until recently, my voice was limited even in the one group where I kept a presence. I still assisted clients, as my qualifications spoke for themselves in spaces where I was now absent.
On platforms, my face vanished, replaced with a personal or professional logo. All social media know me by my avatar and voice, not my likeness.
Yes, I have had health issues to deal with in my family and personally. But by the grace of Yahweh, we are healing.
Yes, I have become subconscious about my appearance. But training under the John Casablancas Agency taught me enough tricks to cover flaws and never lose my natural look.
Yes, my crown will cause me to bury my head. Once again, thanks to collaborating with knowledgeable beauticians, this is not a valid excuse either.
So, it is time to recapture ME‼️
